Build to Print Services

At Glaze Tool and Engineering, we know how important it is to meet our customers’ specific standards. The expert build to print division at Glaze offers our clients custom fabricated and ready-to-install precision parts and equipment that have been fully tested and built to our customers’ drawings and specifications. We can take anyone’s drawing and build the product.
In addition to fabricating new products, our build to print specialists provide reassembling and refurbishment services. From small details that you can install yourself to large complex automation systems, Glaze understands and fabricates to small or large print packages. Installation services are also available if needed. Glaze applies a wide range of technologies and engineered solutions in all aspects of parts manufacturing.
At Glaze, we work hard to prevent obsolete parts or details from putting your projects at risk. We can replace/repair damaged or worn parts and provide re-assembling and reverse engineering to keep your projects on track. No matter what your project requires, the highly skilled machinists at Glaze Tool & Engineering – with an average of 10 years of experience – can meet all your machining needs. Our team consists of machinist with part set up experience. This allows them to study the print, plan the proper setups and complete the machining operations using the most efficient methods. Our CNC programming department works closely with the machinist to plan out manual operations and/or generate programs to ensure part-to-print compliance with very short turnaround. This contract machining expertise – combined with our focus on excellence and customer satisfaction – is what sets us apart from others.
Our superior products include fabrication and machining of weldments and frames, machining of castings and other raw materials (cold rolled steel, tool steel, aluminum, and stainless steel). Our CNC programming department uses Mastercam software and we ensure our work meets all specifications with the correct finish. At Glaze, we deliver quality projects on time and on budget.

Welding and Fabrication

At Glaze we can produce every type of welding and fabrication you can possibly imagine. No matter what your specifications, our expert staff can create the weldments and fabrications specific to your needs. Our customers choose their own custom-fabrication, including tensile strength, yield, material, and specifications. And we deliver it on time as well as under budget.
For more than 40 years, Glaze has provided quality workmanship to our customers. We fabricate, weld and machine per print. Examples include: conveyor weldments, frame weldments and multiple parts that assemble to make a structure. In addition to offering different types of metals (aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel), we also offer pre-machine bevels and can vary the size of our welding (3/4 – 1 inch welds).

Equipment rebuilds and equipment retool

For years, the skilled staff at Glaze Tool & Engineering has been assisting customers with rebuild and retooling services, saving them from costly new equipment purchases. We’ll be happy to assist with a complete rebuild of your existing equipment, or we can help you locate quality used equipment on the market that we will rebuild and retool to fit your needs.

Need a part for an existing piece of equipment? No drawings or documentation? Our engineering department can reverse-engineer a single part or multiple parts of your machine. When our work is complete, you’ll have the needed drawing to accompany your part for any future needs.

Fixtures, Molds, Dies

Glaze Tool and Engineering, Inc. has designed and built molds, dies, fixtures and special machinery for various industries. We produce injection molded parts and performs secondary operations such as special processes and the assembly of component parts.
We have the ability to engineer, fabricate, run production and maintain tooling all under one roof. We have geared ourselves to serve the manufacturer who has a need for injection molded parts, a special process or high volume assemblies, but does not wish to invest in a specialized field or technology. Customers also may not have the manufacturing capability due to lack of physical space or machine time in their own plant. We can do the tough jobs that others can not.
