Job Title: Machine Builder

Salary Range: $25-$35 per hour (based on experience)

Company Overview:
Glaze Tool and Engineering is a growing company specializing in the design and assembly of custom machinery and tooling. We are seeking an experienced Machine Builder to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of machines, including both standard and custom-built equipment.

Job Description:
Glaze Tool and Engineering is looking for an experienced machine builder to build and assemble a variety of standard and non-standard machines and related tooling.

Key Responsibilities:
• Strong mechanical / machine building aptitude
• Ability to read blueprints and understand tolerancing of components and machined parts
• Ability to alter, fit, and adjust assemblies to meet close tolerances
• Work from reverse engineering
• Follow a machine from start to finish, including drawing markups
• Other duties as required by the Machine Build Supervisor, General Manager, or Select Tool Management

General Machinist Capabilities:
• Manual/CNC Mill
• Lathe Manual
• Grinder, surface
• Operate a wide variety of hand tools (drills, grinders, etc.)

Qualifications:
• Good knowledge of pneumatic systems and fluid control systems
• Good knowledge PLCs and HMIs, Servo motors and robotics;
• Understanding of GD&T (fits and tolerances)
• Ability to communicate viable solutions to fulfill full functionality of the equipment to respective team members, Designers and Management.
• Detailed, precise and accurate
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems
• Machine building and manufacturing experience an asset (Leveling/Rigging)

Requirements:
• Ability to work in fast paced/ team environment
• Positively interact with customers, colleagues and management
• Valid Driver’s license
• Ability to travel
